Before the Isolation, we began working on our next E.P.
With that having to be put on hold we decided to turn our attention to exploring ways in which we could be creative in a remote way. This led us to releasing "Stuck Inside" a song and music video created entirely in isolation. Despite it deviating from our original plan, it turned out to be alot of fun and allowed us to connect with the greater Sad Clown community in a really beautiful way.

As time passed, we continued to write new music and along came another Isolation track - "Together Again". The writing of this was almost a direct response to "Stuck Inside". We were reflecting on the cynical and dark lyrical style present and realised that what people may need during this time is just a song of support filled with raw emotion focusing in on the fact that we are all missing our loved ones.

And this sent our brains in to over drive as, given our approach to music videos (Using the same cast of friends every time), we had so much footage of us and our friends over the past 4 years together.

With our upcoming E.P heading in a new direction both sound wise and visually, we thought a video assembling footage from all of our previous videos would be a fantastic way of celebrating that first chapter of Sad Clown.
A period in our lives filled with laughter, improvisation and spontaneous collaborations.
Filming, directing and editing everything ourselves surrounded by people helping us out with no budget. It was so beautifully organic in its creativity and without that amazing community of performers, family and friends, this band wouldn't exist today.
